About Us
Freshspace, a small partnership was established in Kendal, a creative business hub with the luxury of being on the doorstep of the Lake District. The business was created around the combined skills of Darren Nicholls and Eilidh Lee, and their alignment in business expertise.
Diverse professional backgrounds in both the private and public sector have allowed for a more flexible approach to business development. This enables Freshspace to offer organisations a bespoke package of services through Darren and Eilidh's complimentary skill set.
Web Design Designing, building and maintaining a website can seem like a tricky business, with so many things to think about; can I update it, will people find it, can I break it...? It doesn't need to be that complicated and when working with the right people it can be a breeze. Some people think that web designers are ten a penny but finding people who understand your vision can be like gold dust.

"Darren had built and looked after my original website since it's inception in 2004 so, following our move, I knew we needed a brand new website to reflect the change in focus of our business and also to provide a clear and modern section to promote our cheese wedding cakes. I was delighted to work once more with Darren and his partner Eilidh and their understanding of my needs and the needs of the website were, I believe, second to none. We had nothing but support throughout the period of shifting from our old website to the new one and I am delighted with our new site. We have already noticed an increase in wedding cakes sales and the site is very easy to navigate and, most important to me, easy to update, add photos to and generally keep on top of.
