We, Yana & Ian welcome you to Holly-Wood Guest House, our lovely Victorian family run b&b in Windermere, we look forward to offering you a warm friendly welcome, a comfortable relaxed atmosphere and accommodation for your trip to the beautiful Lake District and its many attractions and activities.

If you're looking for a nice, relaxing stay in a quality b&b in Windermere, we are here for you. Our guest house has access to a lot of activities within walking distance.

Holly-Wood Guest House is in a quiet Windermere residential road just a few minutes' walk from the centre of the quaint village in the heart of the Lake District National Park. A short stroll down the hill will take you to Bowness-on-Windermere with its many shops, cafes and restaurants, you can also enjoy a trip up, down or round the lake from Bowness Pier.

We can also recommend several walks in the area within 30 minutes of the door, as well as walks further afield, for some of the views in the area please take a look at our picture gallery page. We also have numerous leaflets on the activities and attractions in and around the Lake District. We can also arrange for half or full day tours of the Lake District with Local knowledgeable companies.

The house is strictly non-smoking through-out and we are sorry that we are unable to accommodate pets. We have a small car park at the rear of the property that can accommodate up to 3 vehicles, we also offer secure storage to keep you cycles safe.

Why not come and spend a few days with us in a most picturesque part of the Country and enjoy romantic walks or a picnic with a magnificent back drop of the some spectacular waterfalls, or perhaps bagging yourself one of the many hills and mountains if you fancy a challenge. How about a trip into the magical world of Beatrix Potter only a stone's throw from our door, whatever you would like to do we look forward to welcoming you to our home for a comfy relaxing break.
